New software version 3.0.0 for easier setup
Vallox will release a new software version (3.0.0) for MyVallox ventilation units in the second week of May 2025. Ventilation units connected to the MyVallox Cloud service are updated automatically if the current software version is 2.0.18 or later. Following the software update process on the control panel is easier than before. The update progress is shown as a percentage at the top of the screen.
What is changing?
The new Timed function allows the user to set a specific ventilation mode for a certain period. For example, in a school building, the unit can be set to the Away mode for the duration of the school’s summer holiday. During this period, if the ventilation mode is changed from the control panel, for example, the unit switches automatically back to the timed mode when the day ends.
The new software makes sure the ventilation unit’s defrosting function is working correctly. If the resistors are deactivated, the unit selects ‘Stopping the fan’ automatically as the new defrosting method.
The control panel indicates if the unit has an error and if the error is critical. After the software update, errors are better identified in the MyVallox Home and MyVallox Cloud interface and the latest error is displayed even if it is not critical. The error message disappears when it is acknowledged in the error log.
Easier unit setup
When a ventilation unit is connected to a computer with a cable, the unit settings can be downloaded in PDF format and attached to a field log, for example. After setup, you can download a setup file containing the unit settings to the computer and use it later for setup in similar locations.
