New CFi constant flow feature for easier setup and higher living comfort

The commissioning of new MyVallox CFi ventilation units is now significantly easier than before. The units are equipped with constant flow fans that compensate for differences in pressure and keep the air flows in balance in all conditions.

Easy and cost-effective commissioning

MyVallox CFi ventilation units are easy to set up. The new constant flow feature allows the air flows to be adjusted by litre directly from the control panel or by connecting the ventilation unit to a computer. If the unit is set up on a computer, the setup settings can be saved to the computer and used later for the setup of ventilation units in similar locations. A PDF file summarising the settings can also be downloaded and attached to the measurement log. The constant flow feature is integrated into the fan of the unit and no additional installation work on the duct system is needed. When the anemometer measuring the air flow is in the fan, there is no fear of blocked measuring tubes either.

Constant flow feature improves living comfort

The taller the building or windier the location, the greater the pressure difference caused by factors such as winds and temperature differences. Pressure changes in the apartment can cause various problems for the residents and the building. Such problems may include the misting of windows and the migration of smells between apartments. An uncontrolled pressure difference may also result in impurities entering the indoor air and moisture accumulating in the structures of the building.

The constant flow fans maintain the air flows at the set level in all weather conditions and even during heat recovery cell defrosting and regardless of the bypass status or dirty filters. The constant flow fans also compensate effectively for separate extractions.

Energy-efficient ventilation units for homes of all sizes

The CFi ventilation units are more energy-efficient and consume less energy than similar MV units. Vallox has a wide range of CFi units with a suitable model for a home of any size. The smallest unit, MyVallox 51 CFi, can be installed, for example, above a toilet seat, ensuring compliance with the accessibility requirements set for smaller homes. For large detached houses, MyVallox 245 CFi is an excellent choice.

All modern MyVallox features

The MyVallox CFi ventilation units are controlled by using the method that suits the location best, e.g. by using an apartment-specific control panel or from the cooker hood. The unit can also be connected to a free cloud service or the building automation system.

Ventilation can also be set to be partly or fully controlled based on the integrated air quality sensors. With the carbon dioxide and humidity sensors, ventilation is boosted automatically and energy efficiently based on the need. The efficient heat recovery of the unit ensures energy efficiency. In addition, the partial bypassing of the heat recovery cell keeps the supply air temperature even also in spring and autumn.
