Constant flow feature now also available for single-family houses
The newest additions to the MyVallox product family – MyVallox 119 CFi ja MyVallox 149 CFi – provide novelty in terms of both structure and features. The units include:
- A new constant flow feature to facilitate set-up
- Both-handed frame
- Filter changes without opening the door
The new constant flow feature facilitates set-up and increases living comfort
Both units have a new, advanced constant flow feature (CFi) with measurement technology developed by Vallox. The constant flow feature balances ventilation, keeping the air flow always at the preferred level even in windy conditions. In apartment blocks, pressure differences can cause odours to travel from one apartment to another. The constant flow feature prevents this.
Units equipped with the constant flow feature also compensate for dirty filters, meaning that the air flow volume does not suffer even as filters start to become dirtier. However, do not forget to change your filters, as dirty filters make the units operate at a higher efficiency and use more energy. Clean filters save energy.
The commissioning of CFi units is easier than ever as the air flow control is litre-based and it can be adjusted directly through the control system. This makes it faster to install.
Two units, one two-handed frame
The MyVallox 119 and 149 CFi ventilation units differ in performance figures but they have the same physical dimensions.
Finnish installers are already accustomed to deciding on the handedness of the unit at the time of drafting the HVAC plan. The handedness of the new MyVallox 119 and 149 CFi ventilation units does not need to be decided even when ordering the unit as the handedness of the unit can be changed just by switching the location of the doors. The factory standard is R-handedness.
Intended for a detached house or an apartment with a maximum size of 190 square metres. The unit is well suited e.g. for the common spaces of the housing company.
Intended for a max. 250 square metre residence. The unit is also suitable for other spaces of a similar size, including shop premises or common spaces in the housing company.
All modern features plus energy efficiency
The new units have top-of-the-line energy efficiency. Their annual efficiency of heat recovery from extract air is 83–84% and the SEC class is A+ even in average climate. Available accessories include a ceiling mounting plate and a roof feedthrough or a floor mounting plate.
The new units have all the familiar MyVallox features: built-in humidity and carbon dioxide sensors and a free, browser-based cloud service in addition to the easy-to-use controller. The units can be connected to house automation systems and a KNX bus converter is available as an accessory. Read more about MyVallox control systems.
Changing filters is easy
The new units have doors with separate filter doors. This means that changing filters is effortless without the need to open the whole unit.
Even though these units make changing filters easy, it is best to check every autumn that the unit is also clean on the inside and the condensing water outlet is functioning well. This means that in cold conditions, the water that condenses in the unit is removed so that the unit can stay functional for a long time.
