Antti Mäkelä’s task is to deliver the materials of the Vallox products to be manufactured to the production lines so that the products can be completed on time. The job of the material manager, or Ranner, is mobile.
In line with LEAN thinking, Vallox’s production has been developed to be more efficient and ergonomic for more than 10 years. Mäkelä’s work as a material handler arose from the need to streamline the production of Vallox ventilation products. Mäkelä delivers the components to the assembly lines so that the products are assmbled on time. The work of a material handler is mobile, social and requires a lot of foresight.
