Important work at the Loimaa Day and Work Activity Center

Local subcontractors are important partners for Vallox. A smooth co-operation with the Loimaa Day and Work Activity Center ‘Toimari’ began as early as the 1970s. Ansa Kivinen, disability services instructor in Toimari and Vallox’s foreman Petteri Horn tell about the co-operation.

In addition to its own staff, Vallox Oy employs more than 10 local subcontractors and many professionals in those companies. A wide range of work is ordered from subcontractors, such as the assembly of ventilation unit frames and the manufacture of roof fans.

One of the subcontracted tasks is the assembly of the supply bags supplied with the ventilation units. This work, among other things, is done for Vallox by the people with developmental disabilities in the Loimaa Day and Work Activity Center ‘Toimari’. According to Ansa Kivinen, Toimari’s disability services instructor, the people of Toimari find it very important to do real work. Vallox is pleased that it can support the work of people with disabilities. The very smooth co-operation between Toimari and Vallox has continued for decades and will hopefully continue for a long time to come.
