Reference project in Riga, Latvia

Bonava Latvija SIA has developed the residential project “Krasta kvartāls” in Riga, Latvia, consisting of six multi-storey apartment buildings. Three of these buildings, in total 280  apartments, are equipped with Vallox 096 MV ventilation units in every apartment. Additional Vallox units also ensure fresh air circulation in the basement-level common areas of these buildings.

The Krasta district as a separate part of the Maskavas suburb is currently becoming one of the liveliest neighborhoods in Riga. The Krasta district is the area between Dienvidu and Salu bridges, which is marked on one side by Daugava and Krasta streets, and on the other side by Maskavas street. Along with the active construction of shopping centers, as well as offices and residential buildings, the infrastructure of the neighborhood and its recreation and entertainment opportunities are also being developed, making the Krasta district an attractive place to live.

Why Vallox?

In these buildings Bonava has 280 apartments with Vallox 096 MV, and in basement level fresh air is ensured with Vallox 145 MV. These products were chosen because of their functionality and quality. In their extensive evaluation process, Bonava considered various solutions available on the market, and they ultimately chose Vallox ventilation units for their exceptional functionality, durability, and quality.

In this building, Bonava fully uses the Cloud Service to control all of the units in the building. Ventilation units update automatically, and no one needs to manually update them. The installation was completed as planned, and the cloud service works well.

Client Feedback

Bonava says the Vallox ventilation units are durable and easy to maintain. The option to control the unit via cloud service is also seen as a benefit. Production Development Manager Mārtiņš Pogulis, says “The installation of Vallox ventilation units in these buildings proceeded without any construction challenges. Our extensive background in similar projects reinforces our belief in the long-term durability and ease of maintenance of these systems. Additionally, the integrated cloud service has proven to be a significant benefit, offering enhanced monitoring and operational support—a feature highly valued by both our team and our clients.
