New Automatic profile makes ventilation easier – and energy-efficient – than ever

Vallox has released a new software version 3.1.4 for Vallox MV and CFi ventilation units. The new software introduces a completely new operating profile, Automatic, which makes ventilation controlling easier and more energy-efficient than ever.

MyVallox ohjaimessa uusi tila: automaattinen

When Automatic profile is used, the unit uses the fan speed setting defined in the Away profile as its base ventilation level, while temperature settings are taken from the Home profile. The unit then automatically adjusts ventilation according to indoor air quality. When humidity or carbon dioxide levels increase, fan speed is raised as needed to maintain a healthy and comfortable indoor environment.

The Automatic profile also helps save energy by ensuring that ventilation is always adjusted to actual demand. With the new profile, there is no longer a need to switch between Home and Away profiles during short absences, such as a workday.

Other improvements in version 3.1.4:

External sensor temperature now displayed

The temperature reading from the external sensor has been added to the temperature display. The temperature shown depends on the sensor’s installation location, which can be freely selected.

  • If the sensor is installed in the outdoor air duct, the outdoor temperature is shown.
  • If the sensor is in the supply air duct, it shows the temperature of the air entering the apartment.
  • If the sensor is installed indoors, the displayed temperature corresponds to the room temperature.

Improved MyVallox Cloud connectivity

The update also fixes a reconnecting issue to MyVallox Cloud that has occurred with some units, improving connection reliability.
