Kari Laakso is the new CEO of Vallox

Jukka-Pekka Korja, who has led Vallox for 11 years, has decided to focus on board work starting April 1, 2026, and Kari Laakso, M.Sc. (Eng), MBA, has been nominated to be company’s new CEO. He started in the position in mid-January 2026.

Laakso has strong experience in international business and has worked for a long time in the Kiilto Family Group, including as CEO of KiiltoClean. Kari joins Vallox from the position of Vice Chairman of the Board and Growth Partner of Intermedius Oy, a member of the Kiilto Family Group.

“I see the move to Vallox as a thrilling opportunity. I believe that we can further develop Vallox so that it achieves an even stronger position in various segments of ventilation,” says Laakso.
