FAQ

Where can I find the nearest authorized maintenance and filter retailer?

You can find the closest partners in our map service.

You can choose the right group from the following options: authorized maintenance, installation service, ventilation design, retailer, filter retailer or importer.

Where do I find the type code of my unit?

The type code is provided on the type plate inside the unit.

In ventilation units, the type plate can be found on the inner wall of the unit. In cooker hoods, the type plate can be found either at the bottom of the hood or behind the grease filter. In MyVallox ventilation units, the type code can also be found on MyVallox control, in the Unit information menu.

How can I identify an original Vallox filter?

Original Vallox filters are always supplied in a Vallox cardboard box. They feature Vallox branding and product information both on the packaging and on the label attached to the filter itself.

Genuine filters are manufactured using materials and dimensions specifically designed to ensure the optimal performance of Vallox ventilation units.

What is the filter classification of Vallox filters?

Older units use black G1 coarse filters and F5/F7 fine filters in accordance with the EN 779 standard.

The ISO 16890 standard replaced the EN 779 standard in 2018.

All newer Vallox and MyVallox ventilation units use ISO Coarse > 75% coarse filters and ISO ePM1 ≥ 50% fine filters in accordance with the ISO 16890 standard.
