The MyVallox 245 CFi ventilation unit is suited to large detached houses (max. 400 m2) and business premises (schools, day-care centres, offices). It enables automatic ventilation: in addition to an integrated humidity sensor, Vallox 245 MV has an integrated carbon dioxide sensor. These make ventilation more efficient and automatically restore it to the normal mode based on changes in the humidity and carbon dioxide levels. The optional VOC sensor reacts to the VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) levels of indoor air and boosts ventilation based on the need. Automation makes ventilation needs-based and, thus, energy-efficient.
MyVallox 245 CFi is controlled through the MyVallox Touch or MyVallox Control panel or through the home network or the free cloud service. The unit can be controlled on a mobile phone, for example. Modbus RTU also supports connection to building automation and provides statistics for those managing the property. When the unit has been registered with the free MyVallox Cloud service, update packages are downloaded automatically and the technical support of Vallox can access the unit remotely with the user’s consent.
MyVallox 245 CFi is a real energy-saver. The specific fan power of the unit is only 0.7 kWh/m3/s, which means that it can replace air with very little energy. In addition, the unit has a high annual efficiency rate, i.e. the heat recovery cell can transfer the heat contained in the extract air into the supply air even more efficiently than before. The coolness of summer nights can be utilised, as the unit includes automatic heat recovery bypass with cold recovery. The partial heat recovery bypass keeps the supply air temperature even and pleasant in all seasons.
The unit’s new constant flow feature increases living comfort and makes installation easier. Thanks to its constant flow fans, MyVallox 245 CFi can compensate for differences in pressure and keep the air flows in balance in windy locations and tall buildings, during HR cell defrosting, and regardless of the heat recovery bypass status. The constant flow feature also compensates for separate extractions. The new constant flow function also makes the installer’s job easier because it allows litre-based air flow adjustment directly from the controller.
