You can tell original Vallox filters apart from other brands by the packaging. Original Vallox filters are packed into a cardboard box which contains all the filters needed for one exchange, and the top of the packaging has a text indicating original filters.

So, why should you choose original filters? The material, thickness and structure are different than in most non-brand filters. They ensure that your ventilation unit is working as it is supposed to.
