MyVallox 245 CFi VKL
Designed for large detached houses and business premises, MyVallox 245 CFi VKL is ideal for premises less than 400 square metres in area. MyVallox 245 CFi VKL works mainly automatically to keep the home, classroom or office fresh without high energy costs. Its integrated carbon dioxide and humidity sensors monitor the indoor air quality. If there are many people in one room and the carbon dioxide level of indoor air rises, the unit boosts ventilation automatically. When the room empties and the carbon dioxide level drops, ventilation is reduced back to the normal output level. The humidity sensor works in a similar way and boosts ventilation when the humidity level of indoor air rises due to washing the laundry or sauna bathing, for example. The ventilation unit can also be equipped with an optional VOC sensor that reacts to the VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) levels of indoor air and boosts ventilation accordingly. Automation makes ventilation needs-based and, thus, energy-efficient.
MyVallox 245 CFi VKL can be controlled with a MyVallox Touch or MyVallox Control panel or, alternatively, on a mobile device via the home network or a free cloud service. The unit can also be connected to building automation with a Modbus RTU bus. A unit connected to the free MyVallox Cloud service is updated automatically.
MyVallox 245 CFi VKL is a real energy-saver. The specific fan power of the unit is only 0.7 kWh/m3/s, which means that it can replace air with very little energy. In addition, the unit has a high annual efficiency rate, i.e. the heat recovery cell can transfer over 80% of the heat contained in the extract air into the supply air. The coolness of summer nights can be utilised to keep the apartment cool in hot summer days, as the unit includes automatic heat recovery bypass with cold recovery. The partial heat recovery bypass keeps the supply air temperature even and pleasant in all seasons.
The unit is equipped with a post-heating liquid radiator that helps heat the supply air when the heat recovery system does not suffice. The unit also has a constant flow feature that makes the unit’s setup easier and increases living comfort by ensuring constant ventilation at all times. MyVallox 245 CFi VKL can compensate for differences in pressure and keep the air flows in balance in windy locations and tall buildings, during HR cell defrosting, and regardless of the heat recovery bypass status. The constant flow feature also compensates for separate extractions. Installation is easier when the air volumes can be set by litre directly from the controller.
