MyVallox 245 CFi is ideal for large detached houses less than 400 square metres in area and various business premises, such as schools, day-care centres and offices. The modern ventilation unit has integrated humidity and carbon dioxide sensors for almost fully automated ventilation. The sensors monitor the indoor air quality and boost and reduce ventilation automatically as necessary according to changes in the indoor air humidity and carbon dioxide level. The optional VOC sensor reacts to the VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) levels of indoor air and boosts ventilation based on the need. Automation makes ventilation needs-based and, thus, energy-efficient. For example, the ventilation output is lower when a room is empty and higher when the room is full of people and the carbon dioxide level of indoor air rises. Efficient ventilation keeps people healthy and alert.
The ventilation unit has a constant flow feature, meaning that it is equipped with constant flow fans that compensate for differences in pressure and keep the air flows in balance in windy locations and tall buildings, during HR cell defrosting, and regardless of the heat recovery bypass status. The constant flow feature also compensates for separate extractions. This ensures optimal ventilation at all times regardless of the conditions.
The new constant flow function also makes the installer’s job easier because it allows litre-based air flow adjustment directly from the controller.
MyVallox 245 CFi is controlled through the MyVallox Touch or MyVallox Control panel or through the home network or the cloud service, e.g. via a mobile phone. The ventilation unit can be connected to building automation with a Modbus RTU bus to provide statistics for those managing the property. A unit connected to the free MyVallox Cloud service is updated automatically.
The specific fan power of MyVallox 245 CFi is only 0.7 kWh/m3/s, which means that the unit can replace air with very little energy. In addition, the unit has a high annual efficiency rate, i.e. the heat recovery cell can transfer the heat contained in the extract air into the supply air even more efficiently than before. This keeps the unit’s energy consumption low and generates savings on the home’s primary heating source. The coolness of summer nights can also be utilised, as the unit includes automatic heat recovery bypass with cold recovery. The partial heat recovery bypass keeps the supply air temperature even and pleasant in all seasons.
