In the Honka Huomen log house, ventilation is implemented by means of a 110 MV ventilation unit that keeps the indoor air fresh and the structures healthy. The site is open to visitors at the Tuusula housing fair 2020. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The driving theme of the Honka Huomen log house, found in the Tuusula Housing Fair 2020 area, is to take care of its residents and to promote their wellbeing through clean indoor air. The theme is repeated in all material choices of the site built by Honkarakenne<\/a>: natural materials and safe M1 emission classified materials are used in the structures and the interior decoration. Vallox ventilation, which is equipped with smart control and is correctly dimensioned, has a key role in creating healthy indoor air.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Like all airtight buildings, also a log house needs mechanical ventilation to ensure that the air inside the building is replaced in a controlled manner and is healthy to breath. In addition to the wellbeing of the residents, ventilation keeps the structures of the house in good condition, says Janne Kivist\u00f6<\/strong> from Honkarakenne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ventilation, as well as the heating, lighting, and sound environment, of the Honka Huomen log house is controlled by means of a smart KNX building technology system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The high-quality ventilation of the Honka Huomen log house is of Finnish design<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The concept of the Honka Huomen log house is to promote healthy living and the overall wellbeing of the residents<\/a>. The favouring of Finnish products is reflected in all material choices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-The Finnish origin is important for us in all procurements, and we also build our houses from Finnish pine. This is why all of our houses have mechanical Finnish Vallox ventilation as a standard feature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vallox ventilation units are manufactured in Loimaa and have been awarded the Key Flag Symbol (Avainlippu) by the Association for Finnish Work<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Multiple options to locate the ventilation unit<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In the Honka Huomen log house, the ventilation unit is located in the spacious utility room. It is hidden in a tidy and smart way behind sliding mirror doors that cover the entire wall. The location makes changing the filters easy and servicing the unit smooth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ventilation unit is mounted on the exterior wall, which helps avoid noise disturbance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-It is important to consider the noise disturbance in the location of the ventilation unit. The unit is turned on 24\/7, for which reason the silent operation is important.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the Tuusula Housing Fair, a Vallox ventilation unit can also be found in e.g. Lammi Kivitalo Duplio and Designtalo Puro<\/a>. The semi-detached Duplio has two ventilation units: both apartments have their own Vallox 110 MV unit, which have been located in the utility room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Designtalo Puro, the Vallox 145 MV ventilation unit<\/a> is located in the traditional manner in a separate technical space that can be accessed from the terrace of the building. The control panel is located in the utility room on the second floor of Puro, which is handy for controlling the unit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
