Vallox is committed to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)<\/a>. We have chosen four primary goals, which we can promote concretely through our operations and solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

\n 7 – Affordable and clean energy\n <\/h2>\n

    \n
  • Our products are based on heat recovery and they save energy<\/li>\n
  • We aim to increase the use of fossil-free energy<\/li>\n
  • We carry out annual energy-saving projects; for example, our factory has switched to LED illumination<\/li>\n
  • We have set limits for the emission standard of company cars, and emissions from our car pool are decreasing gradually<\/li>\n
  • The total electricity consumption of Vallox decreased by approximately 10% between 2020 and 2024.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n <\/span>\n

    • Our products have been granted the Key Flag Symbol, which symbolises Finnish work<\/li>\n
    • We offer traineeships and work experience opportunities for students<\/li>\n
    • We monitor job satisfaction with the eNPS metric<\/li>\n
    • We invest in occupational safety<\/li>\n
    • We support the well-being of children and young people by, for example, sponsoring local recreational activities<\/li>\n
    • Our Code of Conduct guides our operations and supply network<\/li>\n
    • Our annual sickness absence rate has decreased since the epidemic and is now at 2.5%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n <\/span>\n

      • The carbon footprint caused by waste decreased by 62% between 2020 and 2024.<\/li>\n
      • We are constantly looking into new technologies and production methods that could enhance our use of resources.<\/li>\n
      • Whenever possible, we use recycling materials in our components and materials.<\/li>\n
      • We use an environmental management system compliant with the ISO 14001 standard.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n <\/span>\n

        • We are committed to reducing the environmental impacts of our products during their life cycle<\/li>\n
        • Our objective is to produce some of the electricity we need ourselves by fossil-free means (solar panels)<\/li>\n
        • The emissions from company cars decreased by 37% between 2021 and 2024, with an emissions decrease of up to 52% per kilometre travelled.<\/li>\n
        • We have switched to using biodiesel in domestic deliveries.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n <\/span>\n
