Premium log villas fitted with top-quality Vallox ventilation units
The beautiful Lehtoranta villas offer a perfect lakeside getaway in the village of Vesanka, Jyväskylä. The two most recently completed Lehtoranta villas are fitted with high-quality Vallox ventilation units that keep the indoor air always fresh.
“Our comfortable premium log villas, the clean lake and the peace and quiet of nature offer a perfect backdrop for relaxation without disturbances,” says Mia-Riitta Niemi, the owner of the villas. “At the same time, the villas are conveniently located near services with a short ten-minute drive to the city of Jyväskylä.”
The impressive, giant log-built Villa Airanne, completed in 2024, provides an excellent setting for both stylish vacations and corporate meetings. Villa Airanne has seven bedrooms with comfortable beds for up to 14 guests. Also completed in 2024, Villa Haavus invites groups of 6 to 10 people to relax in the heart of nature. Both villas have large windows offering a serene lakeside view, and the combination of the natural and elegant design and modern amenities is sure to make even the most demanding guest happy.
Quiet and carefree ventilation with Vallox
The villas have been designed and built carefully with top-quality materials and solutions to meet modern standards: “To ensure the comfort of our guests, the villas feature all modern amenities from air source heat pumps to smart locks – and, of course, mechanical ventilation with a heat recovery system,” Niemi explains.
Both Villa Airanne and Villa Haavus are equipped with a Vallox ventilation unit.
In Villa Airanne, the Vallox 096 MV ventilation unit has been placed in a separate technical space. Its integrated humidity and carbon dioxide sensors boost ventilation automatically, making the unit a carefree solution for the user. This is a crucial feature especially in a rental villa, as the ventilation system must work constantly and according to need.
The guests do not need to touch the ventilation unit’s control panel – the unit controls ventilation perfectly automatically. The sensors “smell” the extract air and the unit boosts ventilation when the humidity or carbon dioxide level increases, for example, when the sauna is used or when many people are gathered indoors. If necessary, the guests can boost ventilation manually from the MyVallox Touch control panel on the entrance wall.
To make controlling the system even easier, there are plans to connect the villa to the MyVallox Cloud service, allowing the owner to change the ventilation mode remotely, for example, from At Home to Away when the villa is empty.
The smaller of the villas, Villa Haavus, has a Vallox 51K MV integrated into the kitchen cabinet above the stove. Similar to other MyVallox ventilation units, this unit’s air quality sensors adjust ventilation automatically, but the ventilation unit mode can be switched easily between At Home, Away and Boost from the front panel of the elegant cooker hood.
The cooker hood is part of the ventilation system, and it removes any smells of cooking efficiently. In Villa Haavus, the front panel of the Vallox 51K MV cooker hood is white to match the kitchen cabinets, but the product is also available in steel. The simple hood is glass-free and has a flat touch control panel for easy cleaning. Vallox 51K MV can also be connected to the cloud service, enabling remote ventilation control.
Smooth installation and setup
The ventilation units were installed and set up by the owner of Jyväskylä-based LVI-Hakala Eero Hakala and ventilation mechanics student Sakari Hakala.
“Everything from unit installation to air volume measurement and adjustment went smoothly,” says Jyrki Nieminen, a retired HVAC expert who supervised Sakari’s work.
“I have installed many Vallox units over the years, but this was the first time I saw a Vallox 51K MV integrated into the kitchen cabinets. It seems like a great solution to me,” says Nieminen.
Villa Haavus also features a Vallox Out/in Vario wall-mounted air blow-out and intake device. “In this villa, the supply and extract air ducts do not go through the ceiling but they were pulled by a shorter route directly through the external wall. This Vallox wall-mounted air blow-out device is easy and quick to install.”
